Beef Texas BBQ Hot Link Sausage
Traditional beef hot links began with 8 lbs of boneless
chuck steaks on sale at Minyards for $1.99/lb.
Nice marbling, but only maybe 10-15% total fat content.
These are awesome! The Texas BBQ King's hot
link recipe.
On the second batch I swapped out the
1/8" steel round sausage rod for a wood sausage
stick. It keeps the links spread apart so they
don't touch, cook more evenly, and don't have pale spots
where they overlapped. A vast improvement.
