The King's dry rub Course ground Kosher or sea salt Yep, that's it. The king keeps it simple so the meat and the smoke do most of the talking. 1/4 cup salt and 1/4 cup pepper, a tablespoon or so each of the garlic and onion, crushed red pepper to taste, and a couple good dashes of the MSG. Use liberally on pork, beef, chicken, whatever.
